1. ACADEMY GRADE

General musicianship grade exam.

3 pieces to be played.

At least 2 pieces must be selected from the current Percussion Academy repertoire

of solos or backing track pieces.

The third piece may be an 'own choice' piece of appropriate standard.

2. PERFORMANCE EXAM

4 pieces to be played.

At least 3 pieces must be selected from the current Percussion Academy repertoire

of solos or backing track pieces.

The fourth piece may be an 'own choice' piece of appropriate standard.

No supporting tests are required.

Marks distributed as follows:

Pass: 55 - 69%

Pass with merit: 70 - 84%

Pass with distinction: 85 - 100%
