of students to enjoy their music making and enable

them to reach their full potential.

PERCUSSION ACADEMY 

Endeavours to create an examination syllabus and environment

that is highly flexible and suited to the requirements of

the majority of students.

This has resulted in a collection of contemporary pieces and

supporting tests that are truly enjoyable to play.

THE SYLLABUS

Each grade builds on the rhythms and techniques of previous grtades.

The pieces have been created utilising material which has helped many

students achieve their ambition to become professional musicians,

both as players and teachers.  

A founding principle of Percussion Academy is that live

examinations should be conducted in an environment of friendly

encouragement by independent, experienced examiners 

who are themselves percussionists.
